At the bottom of the first bootup screen after the POST test (on my
A8N-SLI Premium) I get this message:
IDE Channel 1 no 80 Conductor Cable Installed
The system continues to boot without incident and I do have the IDE
cable that came with the motherboard (blue end) plugged in the primary
IDE port with two devices installed as well as the secondary IDE port
with two devices installed, master and slave's are all set
respectively.
Could it be that the two IDE cables that were supplied with the mobo
are different as one is 40 conductor and the other is 80 conductor?
