I have an Albatron PX865PE Pro (v.2) and 1 IDE Excelstore J680 and 1
SATA WD740ADFD.
I want to set up windows xp sp2 on SATA drive and use the IDE for
storage.
How can this be done?

You will need the SATA drivers off the Mobo CD....they need to be placed on
a floppy. Then set CD as 1st boot device and make sure to read the manual on
how to set the SATA drive as the next bootable device
You start your System with the XP CD in place, watch for "push any key to
boot from CD" and the XP installation will start.
Read all of the screens until you come to the one that says ..push F6 to
load Scssi drivers.....at wich point you place the floppy in the drive and
push F6.
XP will only search for drivers on the floppy and then load them as part of
the install.
Follow the rest of the prompts and you should have a nice installation.

Disconnect (can be done in the BIOS if it's the only drive on the
cable) the IDE drive, and install Windows on the SATA drive. This will
guarantee that the system files don't end up on the IDE drive. After
Windows has been installed, then you can reconnect the IDE drive.
