Can your favorite web sites be trusted with your personal and
confidential financial and other data? With eCommerce activity growing,
malicious hackers are becoming more interested in breaking into Internet
servers. But many servers are not secure. This utility helps you to
easily determine which Internet servers web sites are using.

Look, I am just a regular browser doing a bit of surfing, emailing,
netgrouping, Internet banking etc. I am in no way knowledgeable about
what are good sites or not. So I only use Firefox, Thunderbird and arm
the PC with a firewall, a lot of anti-viral and anti-spyware progs,
HOSTs file, and I clean up regularly etc... and trust that all this
keeps me safe and will alert me to anything suspicious.

So when you tell me about ID Serve, what am I to make of it? It all
seems very grand giving me the information that it does, but what am I
to do next? I feel that I am not able to make an informed decision. I
am in no way expert. Such programs seem to be of no use to me I think,
as they offer no guidance on what is the best way to proceed.

Of course I want to be safe, but I don't have the expertise, or even the
enthusiasm, to follow up with programs like ID Serve. I think they are
just for real specialists.

Then again, I guess others will disagree?? I may well be wrong, I admit,
but not exceptional I think.

Kind regards,
Ed
