ID of Mail Account Checking

I installed Outlook 2000 on my new XP machine but decided to put it into the
CW mode rather than IMO like I have on another 98SE machine. When the CW
checks for mail, it throws up a little window but doesn't identify which of
4 accounts it's checking. Outlook in the IMO mode identies each box at the
bottom of the screen as it runs the circuit (no window pops up).

Maybe this doesn't even have anything to do with the mode. If so, can
someone please tell me how to set this new install so it does display all?

This is the mode indeed. Any particular reason you chose for this mode?

Thanks for the Reply, Roady. Frankly.... I'm getting set to use Net Folders
to share Outlook 2000. Since the instructions I read didn't prohibit the use
of different modes, I thought I'd use one of each simply to experience the
one I know nothing about (CW). If I'm headed for trouble .... or once mode
is more beneficial to me than another (I won't be using Exchange, just my
RoadRunner email accounts) please let me know.

P.S. I did read that the IMO mode was more suitable for use when only email
is used without Micsoft Exchange, but it didn't tell me why. If you suggest
I change the CW to an IMO, can I do that with relative ease?
