When trying to set up Internet Connection Sharing I get
the following message " Error being enabled. The
dependency service or group failed to start. " The host
machine can browse the internet. The clients can browse
the host and each other and transfer files ect. Wireless.
The internet connection is USB satelite, 2-way. I have re-
installed XP Home 3 times, 2 different discs. No change.
What is this and how do I correct it? BTW this all was
working fine a week ago until a virus got in. After
cleaning out the virus, I re-installed XP ( OEM disc )the
first time. Since then I get the error.

What does this mean? Do I have to clean off the disk and
do a new install of XP? Is the old connection still in
there? Can it be re-setup?

Did you go to the link?

It explains that you either need to install SP1 or remove two regkeys to fix
ICS.
