How can I get internet sharing to work through a w2k domain server. the
server has the modem but I cannot get any of the pc to connect to internet
or retrieve mail. all other network sharing is fine. have enabled sharing in
modem properties. any help would be appreciated as having to share internet
via workgroup without logging onto domain using local pc for ics not server.
Also being thick today.. What is NAT an
Acronym for.

Can you ping the server (192.168.0.1) from any of the clients? If you cant
then it means that they are not getting the right IP address from the
server. Make sure DHCP is not running on the server.

If the clients can ping the server, then disable ICS, reboot and enable ICS
again.

NAT stands for Network Address Translation. Its the daddy of ICS. Its what
you will have to set up if this doesnt work.! :)
