How can you share a DSL connection with both wired
ethernet and wireless ? Can this be resolved with a WAP
attached to a switch or with a domain (SBS2000)
environment instead ?

Connect the DSL modem to the WAN port of a wired/wireless router,
such as the Linksys BEFW11S4. All of your wired and wireless
PCs will then be part of a LAN.

Create a network bridge between the wired and wireless network
connections. Enable ICS. If it asks what connection to use for the
local area network, tell it to use the network bridge. I've written a
web site with details:

Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing

Yes, you can do the same thing by connecting a WAP and the ICS host's
local area network connection to the same switch.

I am abit ur question is not that clear

Anyway a DSL connection can be shared wired; wireless
(wifi) or combination ; may be that is ur question

The WAP will be attached to the ADSL modem
router may be in WAP or ADSL modem
Switch is not necessary in wireless

DSL cable attach to ADSL port of ADSL modem
CAT5 cable from ADSL (ethernet port) to WAN of WAP
CAT5 cable from LAN port of WAP to PC

If u use GATEWAY e.g Aztech 305EU as mine
DSL cable to ADSL port of gateway
CAT5 cable to PC ethernet port

If wired ICS between two PC
both must have NIC
mixed Os can be used
CAT5 cable must be crossover for direct PC-PC connection

Configuration is needed
Too long to go into detail
but for wired ICS
it is just basically running network setup wizard in XP

Forv WiFi ICS
It is just make sure correct cable connection to sent
signal to WAP to broadcast
configurate main computer to allow others ICS
Use either XP or WiFi card software to sniff and connect
to signal
There are other detail as firewall ; WEP ; security
channel etc that need not bother u at home in initially
setup

Get an ICS verified running(e.g surf internet on PC) then
do the rest
