I have 2 NIC devices in a 2000 Pro system. I have tried
to use the wizzard and it seems to show the 192.168.0.1
address but after I have set the other computer to find
their addresses, it still does not connect to the card
that I am sharing. Can anybody help.

thanks in advance.
Jack

Hello Jack,

Please take a look at this article that might help:

289648 Internet Connection Sharing Does Not Allow Other Users to Connect
After
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=289648

Also, please check the cabling to make sure that the two machines are
properly connected.

When ICS is enabled on the host, the guest operating system should be
configured a DHCP client
and will get its address from the ICS host.

With that many users, you are much better off (and it will be much faster)
