ICS under Win 98

Hello out there!

I have a laptop runnig WinXP Home and want to connect it
with a crossover-cable with my desktop-pc running Win 98.
I want to use my old pc, wich has not the system-
requierments for XP as ICS. Is this somehow possible?
any ideas, extra tools or something. thank you very much

Create a Home Networking wizard disk on the XP machine
and run it on the 98 machine. Follow the on screen
instructions and reboot the PC. Make sure you have your
IC shared.

If your old computer has Windows 98 Second Edition, you can use its
built-in ICS program:

ICS Installation [Win98SE]

If it has the original version of Windows 98, you'll need to install a
third-party Internet sharing program. See these sites:
