Hi everyone..

Im currently on the client computer, sharing my internet
connection with the host computer through a direct
cable...

However,i find out that i have trouble uploading/creating
games/send out files through the client computer. I have
suearched many sites out there but to no avail. And i hope
that someone here would be able to help me =)

I understand that it has something to do with forwarding
ports...which i have totally no knowledge on...

Im Using Windows XP and Sharing through ICS via a direct
cable...

Thank you for all the assistance and help =)

See inside the Advanced tab and settings.
They are quite self explanatory.

Do note some apps uses random ports, so you can't really forward those
ports.

Erm...yea im inside...but nth looks self explainatory to
me...sorry for being such a newbie =(

so what do i do to forward the ports? I have checked
everthing in the services tab...

and btw where do i do this? in the host or client
computer?

On the host machine, goto the Advanced tab of your Network interface.

Over there should be a Setting button.
Click on it, and just select Add as you will be defining a non standard
port.

I never really succeed in fwd ing ports .. esp for FTP servers [port 20 and
21 already fwded . still no go]
Have a go and see.
