Ok.. after much hubub, I think I'm pretty close to get this thing running...
On my win98se comp, I got a status icon, showing a connection like:
Internett----Gateway(This XP comp)---My computer(The 98se..) packets
sent/recieved and time logged and speed(100mbps)... I can ping my host comp
from the 98, but I cannot access any online webpages. I have tried setting
the DNS/Gateway adresses manually and automatic.

Now on my XP machine, I got 3 connections listed in my networks. First is a
WAN miniport (PPPOe) wich should be the ADSL modem afaik. Then one LAN
connection wich would be the one connecting my XP with the ADSL modem, and a
second LAN out to my 98.... Wich should be set as shared??
And if any have a good site with a list of settings(IP's) for a simple
setup as I have here, please do post ty.

Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!
I've been trying to use the LAN connecting to the pppoe "client" or dsl
modem, or the lan connecting the other machine.. tried the pppoe connection
and bam!!
The KB article came in norwegian, so I got it in clear text, wich I think
helped alot...
Though some sites seem slow to open on the 98 machine, but tracert show a
respond of 29ms on the same www.
