Hi all,
i have a weird problem. i have 3 computers in my network
and internet sharing is done with ICS. Everthing works ok
but some web sites. I can almost access 95% of the web
but there are a couple web sites i cant load. its the
same for the other client computer but host can access
them all. Its strange that i have the connection, it
works fine for a lot of different web sites but it doesnt
work for a couple ones.
what may be the problem.

This is a common problem with DSL connections that use PPP Over
Ethernet (PPPoE). Here are some possible fixes. Any one of them
should solve the problem:

1. Install Windows XP Service Pack 1 on the ICS host computer.

2. Find the right MTU setting on the client computers, as shown here:

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article04-107

and then make the setting manually on the client computers, or use
DrTCP to make it:

http://www.dslreports.com/front/drtcp.html

3. Download the free RASPPPoE program and install it on the host
computer. Use it instead of XP's PPPoE program. Details at these
sites:
