I have a DSL internet connection that I want to share
among multiple PC's. Problem is, I don't have long
enough cable for one roommate. So what I want to do is
set up ICS on his wireless laptop so he can access the
internet with his desktop through its LAN card.
The deskop machine can access the internet just fine, no
problems there. However, the desktop machine cannot
access any shared folders on the machines connected
directly to the router with ethernet cable (my machine).
The wireless laptop CAN, however. Is there any way for
the desktop to access the same LAN as the parent's.
Here is a diagram of my network:
