ics in windows 2000

Hi ,
I have got a windows 2000 server with dual booting with
server 2003 running on p4 , and a laptop with windows xp
home with p4.
If this laptop connect to inetrnet thru LAN i could be
able to go onto web thru windows 2003 operating system at
server. where this server is sharing the iternet. if same
latop is trying to connect to web thru windows 2000
server on same specifications it couldn't connecting the
web where as i could able to share other resources.
I did enable ics.still the problem is persisting
Can u help me to solve this ....

Hi

Do you have any sort of firewall installed on the WIN2K system? Can you
ping the WIN2K system from the laptop? Can you ping the laptop from the
WIN2K PC? Are they connected via a x-over cable?
