Hi!

I have small local Windows 2000 Prof network. One of the PCs has an ADSL
modem and ICS service turned on for internet access for all network
(provider assingns dynamic IP). It runs ok.

There is another (standard) modem installed in this PC to accept incommng
connetions from another remote Windows 2000 Prof PC.
Is it possible to share internet connection with this dial-in connection
too?

Regards
Adam

On the machine that does the "dialing",...in the Dial-up Settings it must
have enabled "Use Gateway on Remote Network". This is usually enabled
anyway.

However ICS is very "basic" and limited, so I'm not real sure if it will do
the job anyway.

Me too...
Any other solution than ICS for incoming connection?

Thanks

No, not with Win2k Pro. Technically the dialin clients are not "incoming"
because they receive a local IP# when they connect and so they are logically
"local" clients even though they are physically remote. When they try to go
out to the Net via your ICS they are the same as local clients making
*outbound* connections, so they aren't any different than any other client
on your network in that respect
