ICS failing

What am I doing wrong? I want to give domain access to an XP pro machine
that is attached to a second NIC on a Win2k Pro that has access rights to
internet.

Here's the setup:

Internet--|--Firewall--|--Domain--|--Win 2k machine--|--mini-hub--|--Win XP

My Win2k Pro connects to a domain. I've put a second NIC in the Win2k,
attached that to a mini hub and connected the mini hub to my real machine, a
Win XP.

I'm trying to enable internet connection sharing on the Win2k Pro machine
and so give the Win XP machine indirect access to the domain resources. I
have not been able to get ICS to do this. The XP and 2k machine can see each
other's resources but TCP/IP is non-functional. Enabling ICS on the 2nd NIC
doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

I gain access to the 2K machine with a domain username and password. I log
in to the XP with a local username and password. Could this have anything to
do with my TCP/IP failure?

This was worth a real dope slap. No wonder no one bothered to reply.

I completely misunderstood which network connection was supposed to be the
one with the ICS software enabled. Once I understood that the NIC that was
between the domain and the Win2k machine was supposed to be ICS enabled
rather than the NIC on the Win2k machine that was talking to my Win XP,
things worked much better. Not perfectly, but better.
