Hello,

My network has a Windows 98 with ICS.

The windows 98 machines in my network can connect to the internet, but the
Win XP cannot.

They get the ip addresses, but there´s a problem in the DNS. The dns they
have is 192.168.0.1 (the ICS machine).
All the Win 98 also have this dns configured and they reach the dns.

There was a failure of energy some minutes ago, since this failure this
problem begun.

Anyone know how can I fix this?

Hi,

The clients should recieve 192.168.0.1 as the DNS server. Can the XP client
ping 192.168.0.1? What errors does the XP client get?

Thanks,
Marc Reynolds
