ICS and wireless network

I have a wireless network (192.168.1.x) working regularly.
One pc (PC1) is sharing its (internet) connection to the AP delivering via a
switch to another desktop pc attached to it. This pc (PC2) is on the
192.168.1.x segment of the PC1.
My problem is that PC2 is not seen from other wireless clients (no ping), I
dont know how to set it up to work.
But PC2 can ping all wireless clients.
What am I missing?

What you're missing is the PC2 is *not* on the 192.168.1.x segment of
your network (unless you've omitted some connection from your description).

The following assumes that PC2 is connected by Ethernet cable to a
switch and thence to PC1. If PC2 has an *additional* network connection,
please describe it.

When you activated ICS on PC1, this forced the Ethernet NIC in PC1 to
the IP address 192.168.0.1. Further, assuming that PC2's NIC is set to
obtain an IP address automatically (the default), the DHCP allocator
function of ICS then assigned PC2 an address of the form 192168.0.x.

If PC2 has an IP address of 192.168.0.x, it will connect to the Internet
(through PC1) but will not communicate with the computers on the
192.168.1.x segment.

If you have done something other than standard, such as assigning PC2 a
static IP address or connecting to via a second wired or wireless NIC,
please explain.

Correct, no other connections...

It has a static IP of the 0.x form, I guess it's the same as using dhcp.
If PC2 has an IP address of 192.168.0.x, it will connect to the Internet

I see. But since I could ping a wireless client from PC2 I hoped that I
could manage someway to be able to ping PC2 from the wireless network as well.
I'd be happy to share a folder, at least on one pc of the "pair" in my
example.
Of course it not feasible it's good to know it for sure as well.
