I have a DSL PPPoE (raspppoe client) connection on a win2k pro machine.
I share the connection with another win2k box across an 802.11b network
using ICS.
The problem occurs when the ICS client tries to initiate more than two
concurrent TCP connections to a single host. When this condition occurs
(which includes most HTTP browsing), the extra connections don't get
past SYN_SENT (based on netstat -n output). I can reliably duplicate
this using a telnet client for any TCP port.
I have checked and adjusted MTU values on the network. I'm not seeing
any significant packet loss or excessive latency on the wlan or the dsl
connection. I read several kb articles including this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;273587 but none
seemed relevant to this case.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
