I have a Win2000 server with a DSL connection shared to a
peer-to-peered Win2000pro.
The "client" pc is able to surf the web but only some web
sites! (Ex: Google.com and Ibm.com are OK but
Microsoft.com and Yahoo.com are not)
IMPORTANT: Some info is passed since when entering the
generic www.microsoft.com, I see the browser trying to
open the specefic html its meant to display (but without
success)
Tests done:
- The "client" pc has three partitions (Win2000pro,
Win98se, Win98se). On one Win98se, I have the same problem
and on the other Win98se everything works fine!
- I've tried to install WinXP but I get the exact same
problem.
- It's not caused by the network adapter because the same
behavior occurs with different pair of LAN cards.
I'm writing on this forum since I coulnd't find any help
on Microsoft KB in regards to problems with "Internet
connection sharing"
peer-to-peered Win2000pro.
