Sorry if this isn't the place, but I have a question on the icons that appear
in front of the addresses in IE. On the secondary account (wifes setup), for
example, Google will show a box with the G in it. On my setup, its just the
little "e" on the paper. What controls this? I tried the "chang icon" under
properties, but there is not icon to switch too.

Hi,

IE6's use of Favicons can be unpredictable.

Possibilities...
Make sure that the site is in Favorites. Or... removing the site from
Favorites and re-adding it may allow the Favicon to be used. Clearing the
Temporary Internet Files may help.

Part B...
Favicons are kept in the Temporary Internet Files folder and are eventually
replaced by newer files or are cleared when the TIF is cleared.

These programs (freeware) will preserve favicons:
AM-Deadlink- Favicons: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ie/favicon.htm
FavIconizer - The Code Project :
http://www.codeproject.com/tools/faviconizer.asp?target=favicons
FavOrg http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm line 108

Hope this helps,
Don
