We have developed an icon to connect to our inhouse
intranet. Is there a way to move this icon to all inhouse
desktops without coping it to a floppy and going to each
desktop?

Don,

If you put the shortcut in the Desktop folder for the All Users profile on each system it will be on the desktop for all users of
the system. You could create a script or batch file that connects to each system with a Administrative account and then
copies the shortcut file into the Desktop folder for the All Users profile.

You could also push it to each user as part of a logon script.
