Icons on the start page

Hi all,

does anyone know how I can place a shortcut
to my PPC application on its start page?

I can place them in the start menu, but I would
like to have it on the start page for easier
access.

What is "start page"? Are you referring to home screen? If so, you cannot do
it without writing or using an existing homescreen plugin. A plugin cannot
be written as a compact framework application

Yes, you can write one in native code (eVC++). There is a sample in the
Pocket PC SDK which you can follow. There are also a few articles here on
