Icons keep changing

My files keep being displayed as different icons.

What virus could this be?

I'm running Win98 SE and have scanned on-line
for viruses, but nothing was found.
Some time ago, I had an incident with two huge
(multi-Gig) .tmp files.

Can anyone say which virus this could be?

Sounds like a corrupt Icon Cache.
