Is this a PowerPoint question? I'm assuming it's a Windows question, but it would be helpful to know what version of Windows you're using (or what version of PowerPoint if it is a PowerPoint question). I would guess that your recycle bin is there, but it has been moved off the visible portion of the screen. You might be able to right-click on your desktop and choose clean up desktop (or something like that; I'm home on my Mac right now so I can't look at the exact wording). Alternatively, you can find your desktop folder (going into MyComputer and your C: drive and ... -- depends on what version of Windows) and move the icon to a reasonable place on your desktop.
