I just purchased a new e-mail service w/ 100mbs badly
needed i might say. but can you tell me how to get an
shortcut ,ICON. on my desk top. in order for me to be
able to just click onto.

If it's broadband then it's always on, isn't it? Why do you need an icon to
click?

Hi, in the folder where your email prog. is located,
Click to expand...
right click the icon you want > point to send to > desktop
create shortcut.
 
Open the folder for the program and find the exe and then
right click on it and then click create shortcut and then
drag and drop it to the desktop. Every program I've ever
seen has it's own shortcut so you maybe able to do a
search for your e:mail program and then open it's folder
and drag and drop the shortcut already in there. Keep
smiling.

We learn new things every day.
My almost nine year old son just clicked and dragged the
icons from the startup menu to the desk top and showed me
how he did it. It looked simple them but because he did
all of them before telling me I had no chance of trying it
out for myself. So you could try that with one and see if
it works.
