After I use some other desktop wallpaper, the icon names are no longer
transparent like in the pass. How can I turn the icon name back to
transparent again? Thanks for help.

Hi Wilson,

Right click the desktop, choose "arrange icons by", and look at "lock web
items on the desktop". If it is checked, click on it to uncheck it.

Go to the Control Panel/System applet/Advanced tab, click on the performance
settings button. On the Visual Effects tab, scroll to near the bottom,
ensure that "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" is checked. If
it isn't, check it and apply/ok your way out.

Note: Transparant text will only work with bmp images.

Right-click "My Computer", Properties, "Advanced" tab. Under Performance Section, click
"Settings" button, "Visual Effects" tab, check "Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop"
Click "Apply", "OK"
NOTE: Changing this setting may change your folder view options too.
From any open folder click "Tools", "Folder Options", "General" tab, "Tasks", and reset your
folder options. (Common or Classic)

If this still doesn't do the trick:
Right-click the desktop, select "Arrange Icons By" and make sure that "Lock Web Items on Desktop"
is un-checked.

If this STILL doesn't do the trick:
Right click on desktop, Select "Properties", "Desktop" tab. Click "Customize Desktop..." button,
"Web" tab. Uncheck everything in the Web Pages box except, "My Current Home Page",
Press "OK", then "Apply", and "OK" your way out.
You may need to restart for settings to take effect.
NOTE: Only unchecking "My current homepage" may also work.
