Icon removal/Index Searching

06/26/06 Mark here. Cannot remove icons which have 'appeared' on start up. I
have repeatedly tried 'Desktop Search' "nothing' found. Waste of
time????PLease!

Where have the icons appeared? On the desktop? In the System Tray? What
icons? Remember that although the problem is in front of you and fresh
in your mind, we can't see your computer from here.
