In older version of Windows I used to be able to adjust a desktop icons'
startup parameters to launch an application with different options (like
load a specific file). I don't seem to be able to do that in WindowsXP.
Has that process changed? Is it no longer available?

Thank you.

The process hasn't changed. Target line parameters in shortcut properties
are still available if the program supports it and there are no permission
issues with the files being called up. If there are long file names
involved in the paths, be sure to enclose those in quotes.

In that case I'm doing something very wrong. I'll keep plugging away at it.
Thank you.

Mark :-)
