Icon on tool bar

Janet. This is a discussion group for Windows Mail Problems.
Since Windows Mail would not have an icon for itself on the toolbar, what tool bar are you talking about?
If you expect answers, be more detailed about your problem.
You may need to ask this question in the Internet Explorer group, or in the Windows Vista group.
 
Janet, something to try:

Just right click the start button and at the top of the list you should see
Windows Mail,
Right click and drag it over onto the desktop, then drag it down onto the
quick launch tool bar.
 
Your icon on which toolbar? The toolbar for Internet Explorer?
Right-click on that toolbar and select Customize.
