Icon in tool bar has disappeared

Hi

The MSAS icon has mysteriously disappeared from my tool bar.

I can still open MSAS from 'programs' and it is configured to start up with
Windows (which it does as it occasionally signals something) but the tool
bar still won't reappear.

What gives please?

You got to be talking about the Notification Area icon for MSAS:
You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in Control
Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Update.

Dave,

Open MWAS, click on Options, Settings. Click on General in the left
frame and see if the " Hide the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the system
tray " box is checked.
