Can someone tell me how to install an icon on the system properties dialog window? I have installed a new copy of MS Windows XP Home onto an eMachine computer and want to have the eMachine logo on the system properties like it did before I rebuilt this machine.
Thanks,
Smitty

Take a look at this article.

Branding Your Machines
http://www.amset.info/netadmin/oeminfo.asp

Basically you need to create two files, oeminfo.ini and
oemlogo.bmp, and place them in your C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder.
Open notepad and follow the instructions in the article to
create oeminfo.ini. Use your favorite graphics editing program
to create the logo. The Paint program will allow you to shrink
an image so that it's no larger than 182 X 114 pixels. You can
then save the image as a 24 bit BITMAP file.

Here are some other articles which you might want to look at.
