Icon in Contact

Can anyone tell me how to modify the icon in the phone list view of
Contacts? A couple of years ago we imported a list of address that we mail
christmas cards to and those imported items have a unique icon assigned to
them, making it handy to sort and see the exact addresses we send cards to.
We would now like to add to this list without changing or moving to a
different folder the contacts. The simpilest way would be to change the
icon. Can this be done?

I would also like to know how you do this and want the existing icons mean as i have 3 different types 1 Coloured, 1 Grey and 1 as a Magic 8 Ball???
