The Cheat

You know the text underneith the icons on the main
desktop that identify the program? Well, mine are
surrounded by hideous little blue boxes! How do I get
rid of them?

System properties (Winkey+break)> Advanced> Performance> Settings> Visual
Effects. Check box to show drop shadows on icon labels. Also, right click
the desktop and select Arrange Icons by... If "Lock web items" is checked,
uncheck it.
