IBM DB2 on IBM Mainframe

Anyway to connect to an IBM Mainframe DB2 server. I think the ODBC driver
assumes a windows DB2 or maybe LINUX. Someone correct me if I am wrong....

Usually IBM boxes have UDB400 which is a "close cousin" to DB2 and yes there
are driver differences. If you use a driver specifically for connecting to
an IBM database then it should work. In my experience standard DB2 drivers
do not work.
