IBM A31 Thinkpad Display issue

Can anyone tell me what the issue may be - The display on my A31 Thinkpad looks as if "pixels" whatever are missing. Most notable from the desktop.\

Other than being old - it works fine.

It could be that you have some stuck/dead pixels on your LCD - it's not too uncommon.

There's a little test you can do online (here) to see if that's the case
