Trish - you might want to read some of the other threads
in here. The IBIS Toolbar is a false positive and really
is your QuickTime Uninstaller file. There are several
ways to restore it - just check the threads. Check your
Start>Programs>QuickTime and see if you have the option
for uninstall -if not, you probably should repair the
deletion you made.

I presume you are saying I shouldn't have removed it. I
can't find a way of getting it back. I have looked at the
threads and am a bit confused. I run WXP Home SP2, can
you talk me through what I should do please. I would be
very grateful. It doesn't seem to have affected the
running of my PC, all seems well at the moment. Can't
find anything to do with 'quck time', not sure I even had
it in the first place. Have never noticed anything in my
Add/Remove before. Please help or advise if you can.
Thank you.

Go to the Announcements Section - there is a
thread "QuickTime Repair which shows your options for
getting it back. If you deleted it, that thread contains
a site where you can download it again and put it back on
your computer. If you made a restore point - just merely
restoring your pc to that point will put it back.
Depends on just exactly what you did as to what you need
to do. I just went ahead and downloaded it again - then
marked it "ignore" for subsequent MSAS scans.

Thanks John. I have looked in announcements and will have
a go. But can you tell me first, do I really need Quick
Time and what does it actually do. Like I said, I am not
sure I have ever had it and my PC is working just as well
as it always has. Thanks for you help, much appreciated.

I am not sure whether you use QuickTime or not. Many
film clips and small action bits require QuickTime.
And.... it will still work - it is just the uninstaller
that is gone - so if you every try to uninstall it, you
won't be able to do so, until you have the uninstaller.
It isn't a MAJOR problem - just an inconvenience of
preference.
