IAS can assign static IP addresses (which may or may not be honored by the
NAS)
IAS doesn't handout DHCP addresses, nor can it assign IP addresses(from a
pool) out of the box. An Extension DLL might be able to facilitate that.
IAS can supply
a) An IP Address (per user set in AD)
b) An IP Addresses (per policy set on IAS server)
c) Force NAS to supply IP Address (may or may not be honored by NAS)
d) Allow the client to select the IP it wants
e) Allow NAS to make decision about IP address (Default)
