Where can I get thorough IAS documentation? I have the platform SDK and I am
running into either an undocumented feature or a bug.

if the user password is the word "ANI" IAS rejects the authentication
attempt. other 3 letter passwords like ATA or DID seem to work.

Please help..

What do you have so far?

Have you review the built-in help from Win2000 or Win2003 server? (It's
excellent)

Have you searched Microsoft? Using Google to search Microsoft is actually
more effective in most cases.

This does sound like it might be a bug, but it also sounds odd that you
would be using 3-letter (unsecure) passwords.

Also, note that the rejection might (probably?) be generated by the
AUTHENTICATION server (domain etc.)

Consider enabling logging on IAS....review the logs.
