I'm amazed it was launched from a field like that where there are cars driving near by, you wouldn't want to get hit by that! :lol:

Would be so much fun to do something like that, especially if a Kero / LOX engine was used! (or even a environmentally friendly H2O2 engine ;))

Absolutely fantastic stuff..

All went to plan perfect takeoff and parachute landing..Top Bombing or in this case top rocketing..:nod: :D
 
Impressive. :D The parachute drop would make a good screensaver.

Interesting link that! I'm really surprised they got 802.11 wireless to work so well for telemetry. I had to build a rocket avionics system a few years ago, but had to use an onboard datalogger to record data as wireless was so flakey. Just spent the last 15 mins looking for some pics, but I can't find my old project thesis :wall:

Double DOH !!!!........I get the rocket Scientist thing now...Oh i'm feeling rather thick now, only took nearly a year...

Just wait till Witricity comes into play properly...No more cables, no more wires, jsut loads more wireless things to configure,,,
