For some reason when I try to link to another web site
from the one I am on, I get a blank page popping up. This
blank page even has the address line blank.

I have disabled both stopzilla and google pop ups. I have
saproxy and spybot checking and nothing came up as a
problem.

Just to get this posted was difficult because the posting
always came up blank.

Any ideas?

Hi Gabe - Go to Start|Run and enter "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the
quotes). After you get a Success message, re-boot. If that doesn't work,
then check out the following article and do the additional steps outlined
there:

Thank you Jim for the suggestions. I first applied all of
the suggestions that you had. Then I followed the link
from MS for the potential resolution, but that did none of
these seemed to work. I then uninstalled all of the
different softwares that I installed and tried to install
then individually to see which created the error. Well it
seems the entire error was the combination of Stopzilla
and Norton Internet security setting. Those two are now
fixed and all is running as it should, and I am happy as a
little clam. Sorry for the delay in my respnse but been
very busy with things like work, so this is the first
chance I get to reply.

Hi Gabe - Thanks for the feedback. FWIW, Symantec software is noted for
it's interference with other programs. That's one of the reasons why I
don't allow it on any of my machines except for testing, and then remove it
using Total Uninstall. Good luck!
