I need some help, I heard that you can make computer games load and play
faster if you creat a virtial cd drive. I download GAME DRIVE and it took TOO
LONG just to copy call of duty cd1. Is there any other program that I can use
or does window have an function to do this.

The whole idea behind a Virtual CD drive is to have a copy of the CD program
on the hard drive, and have the copy be treated as if it were the CD.

If you don't copy the CD to the drive, how would you do this?

How long is TOO LONG?

I bet he means the copy operation failed because of copy protection on
the disk. Gamedrive probably went into a loop trying to copy a bad
sector and ground away all night.

The OP might try Alcohol 120%. I've never used it myself and don't
know if it can create drive images.

OTOH he could just buy the game instead of trying to pirate it.

I do have the game bought it at walmart. I would just like it to be faster
then just reading from cd. TOO LONG well game drive said it would take over
an hour to copy one cd.

You need to know that a lot of newer games are now checking for "virtual CD"
software and will refuse to work!

Start the cd copy before you go to bed. If it's still running in the morning
then your cd is probably stuffed.
