I was hijacked and need help getting back my desktop tab

I can't get back my desktop tab in my display properties and I am lost
as to how to get it back.

Now I did try a regkey and I did try using gpedit.msc to no avail BUT if
I create a new account the tab is there on it.


Can anyone give some suggestions as to how I can reclaim this button?

Thats not an option I am afraid. There has to be a way around this flaw
in the security or should I say lack of it in XP and IE besides having
to resort to a restore.

BTW: I tried a system restore and it was no go as well.
 
..Infact I am also getting same errors.But when i create a new user same error dose not presist in a new account.And if i do system restore problem get resolved

Figured it out it was in my policies so I removed them ALL like the new
account I set up and viola it was back. Since its just me on this pc I
have no idea how 20+ policies got set up but they are gone now.
