Hi,
I'd like to use 2 mice, with 2 distinct pointers. Obviously connecting 2
mice simply doesn't work. In effect I have already 2 mice on my laptop, since
I use a mouse and a touchpad. But they control the same pointer. I'd like to
be able to connect 2 mice to the pc and get 2 pointers. The reason is that I
believe that this would increase my productivity. So, my questions are:
1) Is this forbidden by hardware (motherboards, bios, etc...) ?
2) Is this already possible in windows (with a few clicks or installing some
existing driver ? I don't believe) ?
3) Is there someone in Microsoft who could consider this and to whom I
should write a mail ?
4) If none of the previous, what do I have to do to write a 2nd
pointer-mouse driver ? Can I use .NET and/or C++ ? Is there on MSDN or
somewhere else a manual for writing this kind of driver ?
I know this can sound strange, but I strongly believe that if you want a
sort of new desktop pc revolution(event Macintosh hasn't got it), you should
at least consider the possibilty of 2 mice, 2 pointers...
Many thanks
