I want to start Windows XP Pro normaly but can't

Every time I start windows the first time of the day I always experiance restarts and the a selection window comes up asking me how would I like to start Windows. I try selecting "Start Windows Normaly" but it just restarts. The only way I can get in Windows is if I select "LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIG". I did install all critical updates few days ago and did a System Restore yesterday thinking that would help. Same thing happend again when booting the PC this morning

Please if anyone can, help. I never had this problem before the updates I'm starting to get real worried becaus I use this PC for Business.

I'm starting to get real worried becaus I use this PC for Business.

When you say you experience restarts, does XP boot up normally the first
time and then restart? If so, you could have a hardware driver problem. You
could also have had a corrupt download of the updates. I would go into
Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall those updates, then do them
again and see if that clears it up. You also might want to go into System
Restore and remove all previous restore points, then set a new one. If all
else fails, you might want to back up your important information and do a
repair installation.
