names from other people using my computer, where do xp
save all log in name and passwords used on system
applications.

Hi,

Open up your Task Manager, and see if there's any instances of MSN Messenger
running in the Processes tab.
Look for msnmsgr.exe in the Processes and if you see it select it and then
push the End Process button.
Then try going to the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and scroll
down until you see MSN Messenger, then click on the remove button.

To remove the names of the people who logged into Messenger on your
computer:

Click on the Start menu then go to Run and type in "control userpasswords2"
without the quotes.

The User Accounts window will appear, now click on the Advanced Tab.

Now under Passwords and .NET Passports click on the Manage Passwords button.

You'll now see a list of users who have logged in using their Passport.
Select the accounts you want to remove and they won't appear in your
messenger login history.

Yes, Please help. I cannot find a way to uninstall Windows Messenger from my home XP. I have looked everywhere. And each time I get online, I am connected instantly to windows messenger, which I do not wish to be.

Finally, I disabled the darn thing by apparently having the wrong proxy server settings. All I wish to do is have Windows Messenger when I wish it on, and not when I do not. But the easiest now would be to uninstall/reinstall. Thanks
