Hi,
I want to find the lowest point on the plotted line in XY
(Scatter) graph. I have many points scattered above and below the line. I
need the lowest point on the line and not the lowest point on the graph.

We need more detail about the line and your data points?
Is the line a simple horizontal line, a slope or a undulating line?

Care to explain your data and what the low point value would be?
Is that xy values or 2 lines with default x values?
There are a few gaps in the data you posted are these true gaps of just
email formatting problems?

I copied the first block to a worksheet in range A1:B179 (row 1 had labels)
I made an an XY chart of the data
In E2 I used the formula =MIN(B2:B179)
In D2 I used =INDEX(A2:A179,MATCH(E2,B2:B179,0))
This gives me the X and Y values on the minimum point
I selected and copied D2:E2; clicked the chart; used Edit | Paste Special
and specified New Series & X-category in First Column. This plotted the
point on the chart in a different color (on top of the old point)
