I want to Eliminate Windows Intro Music.
Yes I blare Jimi Hendrix and Fleetwood Mac at night and
cannot bear the early morning shock of the intro music at
full volume.
I cannot remember to turn down the master volume on my
amps each time since I basically just deal with the
volumes on serveral different players.

To remove the Windows Startup music--
1) Open Control Panel
2) Click on "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices"
3) Under "or Pick a Control Panel icon...", click on "Sounds and Audio
Devices".
4) Click on the "Sounds" tab
5) Under "Program Events", fiind "Start Windows" in the drop-down list and
select it. The file name of the file which handles the event will be
displayed under "Start Windows". You may change this file (browse to
another file), or use none.
To use none,
6) Click on the arrow to the right.
7) Choose "none" from the drop-down list (just at the top of the list)
8) Click on "Ok"

Thank you VERY MUCH. For now I'll use "none". But I'm
going to record some nice soothing nature sounds to .wav
at a low record volume. That should do my morning just
fine.
