I want to download a software, then make a CD image.
First, I use Windows 2000 pro sp4, download the software.
Download to an empty hard disk, only one partion, save to the disk?
Download to an empty partion, save software to this partion?
Download to an empty folder of an empty hard disk, save software to this
folder?
Download to an empty folder of an empty partion, save software to this folder?
then use another computer, install windows 2000 (update not install),
install antivirus software (definition not up to date)
attach the rewritable CD-ROM
install the CD buring software
attach the hard disk that the download software locate
log on as user
use antivirus software scan the hard disk that the download software locate
then burn the software as a CD image
(never connect to internet)
does this is the safest way for this hard disk?
How to avoid virus from internet spread to the new operating system by this
hard disk that the download software locate?
