I want no auto save when tabbing from one page to the next in a m.

I created a multitab(page) form from four tables through a query. When the
last field for data entry is filled in on one page and the person hits the
"Tab" key to go to the next page, the record is automatically saved but the
user doesn't know and keeps filling in information that, then, cannot be
saved. How can I make it so that there is no auto save when the Tab key is
hit on the last field on a page before going to the next tab(page) in the
form?
 
hi,
i am assuming you are using a bound form.
so to do what you want, it would appear that you need to
unbind the form then use an update query to add the
contents of the form to the table when you click an
update button. in other words, the record is add when you
want it to not automaticly.
